ENSEMBLE ROZETA

Huang-Hsi Tseng
Baroque Violin
Huang-Hsi Tseng wants her music to communicate emotions, touch the audience in their hearts and souls, challenge them, and make them think. Her enthusiasm for this idea received much support from her mentors, Jia-Hong Liao, Qian-Dai Hsu, Wolfram Wincor, and Elisabeth Wiesbauer. After studying at the University of Taipei and Anton Bruckner Private University, she found her musical home in historical performance practice. Over the years, she has always been guided by great musicians from the baroque scene, such as Walter S. Reiter, Clive Brown, Els Biesemans, and many others, and she has had the opportunity to work with international ensembles such as the Euridice Baroque Orchestra, among others. This has given her many valuable impulses, and today she spans the spectrum from Renaissance and consort music to the classical era. She plays on a newly built model and a historical violin with many different bows. This flexibility allows her to explore the many shades of musical language as well and as truthfully as possible.
