Mej Mansouri

Mej Mansouri, born in 1997 in Belgrade, Serbia, showed an early passion for music. At the age of five, she enrolled in the piano department at the Vatroslav Lisinski Music School in Belgrade.

During her primary and secondary education, Mej earned numerous awards at school as well as at national and international competitions. Her interest in the harpsichord emerged after meeting Professor Svetlana Stojanovic Kutlača, under whose guidance she completed both elementary and secondary music education in early music—specializing in harpsichord—at the Josip Slavenski School.

Mej obtained her bachelor’s degree in harpsichord from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, within the poly-instrumental department. She is currently in the final year of her master;s studies in harpsichord at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, Austria, under the mentorship of Professor Anna Marie Dragosits, in the Alte Musik department.

Since October 2022, Mej has been a student assistant in accompaniment (Korrepetition) at ABPU. She also works as a piano teacher.
