Lucie Lerlová

Recorder, Baroque Oboe

Lucie Lerlová began studying the recorder as a child at the Zlín-Jižní Svahy Music School, where she later worked as a recorder teacher. She completed her recorder studies with Renata Smetková at the Conservatory P. J. Vejvanovský Kroměříž with distinction in 2021. Since October 2020, she has been studying the recorder with Carin van Heerden and Christine Gnigler at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz. She later replaced her minor in baroque oboe, taught by Carin van Heerden, with a bachelor’s programme in baroque oboe with Emma Black.

She has performed with various ensembles and currently performs regularly with her recorder trio Lumae (Forfest Czech Republic 2023, ZlinFilm Festival etc.). Trio Lumae won first prize at the Tel Aviv International Recorder Competition in 2022. With Ensemble Rozeta, she won several prizes at the BRISK competition of ABPU. She gained her first orchestral experience with the Euridice Baroque Orchestra, playing both the recorder and the baroque oboe.

She has taken part in masterclasses with Walter van Hauwe, Kees Boeke, Peter Holtslag, Bart Spanhove, Peter van Heyghen, Michael Oman, and Bolette Roed, among others.

As a recorder teacher at the Musikschule Oberes Mostviertel, she passes on her passion for the recorder to the next generation of artists.
